Opening Times for Castle Visitors
The castle is closed for 2020, it will re-opened for your visits in 2021.
May to October: daily from 10.00 to 17.00.
Tuesday: closed
Group tours: all year round after prior registration
Admission prices (effective from January 1st, 2015)
Exhibition "Iron Curtain": entrance to the venue hosting castle museum, castle theatre, castle tower (climbing included), castle brewing museum
- adults - 8.50 Euro
- seniors, students, military staff - 7,00 €
- family - 18.00 €
- family with „Lower Austrian family pass“ - 16,00 €
- children up to 6 years: free
- children 6+: - 4,50 €
- groups of pupils/students: - 5,50 € per student
- individual students - 5.50 Euro
- entry with “Niederösterreich-Card” : free
Guides
group (from 20 persons); Castle-Muesum, Castle-Theater,Castle Beer-Museum, (incl. exibition "Iron Curtain Venue" and lookout tower) per person - 9.50 €
group without a guide (from 20 persons) per person - 7.00 €
single guide - 30,00 €
Please note: The Democracy Forum Weitra exhibition "Iron Curtain Venue" is not suitable for children and schoolchildren under the age of 10.
